After reading all the posts on Facebook this morning all I can say is, shame on you! Shame on you to all the people I know who are glad the health care bill passed because you say you can’t afford insurance. You are pathetic! I say this because I know you. I know that you make payments on that expensive car, you have a big screen TV, and you have every game console known to man. I know you have a car, motorcycle, and/or a boat. I know you eat out several times a week. I know you go to the club every weekend. I know your business is failing, but you still spent $5000 on that new piece of equipment just because all your friends did. Didn’t I watch you update your Facebook status with that new i-phone the other day?
Yes, you are pathetic! You don’t have an insurance problem; you have a “Priorities” problem.
Since you are my friend, and you think I’m being irrational, I’ll apologize…………when you show me a written copy of your last 12 months budget. That right! I’ll never have to apologize because people like you don’t make budgets and really have no idea what you can and can’t afford.
I'll be glad to pay for your insurance if you will let me control your family budget, your eating habits, and the amount of exercise you get each week.

Specter Switches Parties because Voters are Stupid!
Senator Arlen Specter, who has served our country as a Republican from Pennsylvania, has switched parties. He didn’t switch because he had an epiphany and decided to change his views. He changed parties to save his job! He knows that voters are, for the most part, STUPID! Mr. Specter realizes that his state will vote Democratic not because of the candidate, but because it is the way they are conditioned to vote. He knows that most voters will not comprehend or care where he stands on the issues. Mr. Specter realizes that most voters in this country have no idea who represents them on the state or local level. He knows that the voters in his state will vote for any candidate that has a little (D) after their name.
Voter ignorance is the real problem in this country. Too many people vote party line no matter what the circumstances. It happens in both parties. We vote for the party that tells us what we want to hear even though both parties rarely follow through with their campaign promises. We vote for our candidates based on what channel our TV’s are tuned to (CNN, MSNBC, FOX). We have forgotten that our politicians should be there to represent us, not control us. They should be concerned about our interests, not self-preservation. And that is all Mr. Specter is concerned with; Self-Preservation!

The problem with “Tax and Spend”
It just doesn’t work! It sounds good in theory; Take from more fortunate and give to the less fortunate. And there is the 1st problem. Most wealthy people in this country are first generation millionaires. That means they worked for everything they have, it wasn’t given to them, they didn’t inherit it, they made it happen. They are not fortunate!
The second problem is; tax and spend actually hurts people on the lower rungs of the ladder. Let’s say someone works hard, builds a business, hires employees, and earns a lot of money every year for his effort. Then one day the government decides he needs to pay more in taxes to help the less fortunate. Do you really think that this individual is going to give up his hard earned income? No, he is not, he is going to compensate for the difference by cutting costs and in a lot of cases the fastest way to cut costs is to let the lowest rung of the ladder go and make the other rungs absorb the extra weight.
It’s a viscous circle because now taxes will rise again to help those extra people in the unemployment line and soon the next rung will be in that line. However, if we let this entrepreneur keep more of his hard earned money he could expand his business and actually hire more employees.
It wasn't a "Tax and Spend Government" that made this country great, it was the "Entrepreneur"!

Stop apologizing and start celebrating
I have tried to with hold my thoughts on our president and the current administration, but I can’t take it anymore. The comments president Obama made in Europe were a terrible mistake on his part. President Obama actually called America arrogant! He said we need to embrace our European allies more than we do. President Obama, let me give you a history lesson.
· The United States bailed Europe out of WWI
· The United States Bailed Europe out of WWII
· The United States bailed France out of Vietnam
· The United States protected Western Europe’s borders from the end of WWII until the fall of the Warsaw Pact in the late 80’s.
· The United States caused the fall of the Soviet Union and the reunification of Germany
· The United States is the first country to come to the aid of others during times of natural disaster, regardless of their international status
Is America arrogant? Your damn right we are Mr. President! We are the greatest nation on this planet. People come from all over the world to attend our colleges, earn our wages, and live our life style.
Mr. President never forget that if it wasn’t for this country you would not be who you are. You are the son of an immigrant who grew up in a broken home, under poor economic conditions and despite all of that, you have risen to the highest office in the land. You, Mr. President, are the Great American Story. Stop apologizing for it and start celebrating!
